Here is an unusual old industrial wooden spool. It still contains a lot of really thin string made of fine fiber. The string is solid for it's thickness but still breakable by hand. The spool is in as found condition with the original finish and would clean up nicely if that is the look you want. It measures 6 inches in diameter and is 3 3/4 inches wide. The inside spool with the string is about 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
