When the meter is placed in contact with the housing of the equipment, accurately calibrated reeds, tuned to selected="" frequencies of vibrations, indicate the speed in RPM on the meter's scale. They require no power so they can be used in hazardous area.Housings are constructed of aluminum alloy with a semi-gloss and wrinkled black enamel finish.Accurate- 0.5% of rated frequency.
