Rare true first edition copy of this occult reference text, showcasing the initiation rites for Rosicrucians, Christians, Freemasons, and other related initiation rituals. With illustrations. Some blemishes to covers and shelf wear around the edges. Bumped corners. Binding is loosening with a few instances of split binding, though all pages remain attached. Previous owner’s ex-libris sticker on fep and some sparse underlining in pencil, most appear to have been erased. Foxing to many pages, most notably affecting endpapers, the illustrated pages and others nearby. See photos for condition.
