M.R.M.W faithfully reproduces vintage military watches, which are considered masterpieces from around the world, making them straightforward to use.[Product Description]The TYPE A-15 Elapsed Time watch was born as a pilot's watch between 1944 and 1945, when the Air Force was still called the Army Air Forces. It was field-tested in six countries, including the United States, Italy, and China. Only 500 were made. After the tests were completed, all the watches were collected, but they were never mass-produced. Only 500 were distributed to USAAF pilots involved in military operations in Europe, Asia, and the Pacific.[Accumulator Dial / Elapsed Time & Dual Time Display]The biggest feature of this watch is its distinctive dial with two rotating internal discs (accumulator dials) operated by two independent crowns. The crowns, which look prefer chronograph pushers at first glance, rotate the internal discs. The upper crown is linked to the inner hour index disc, and the lower crown is linked to the outer minute disc.
