More information about Edward Hopper: A Journal of His Work - Deborah Lyons (1st edition) Norton, 1997

First edition, first printing oversized hardcover copy of Edward Hopper: A Journal of His Work by Deborah Lyons (W.W, Norton & Company, 1997). remarkably interesting and somewhat scarce book showcasing scans of four of notebooks of the acclaimed artist and designer, a leading figure in American Realism and latest art. These notebooks contain a variety of sketches, journaling, plans, projects and other details pertinent to Hopper’s life and work. With essays by Lyons and Brian O’Doherty.

A remarkably clean copy with mild rubbing to covers and slight shelf wear around the edges. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Faint foxing to top outer edge of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
